How much does Clonesite cost?
New verified accounts get 30 free credits, no card needed. A Site Copy costs 3 credits per page, and the total is shown before anything is spent. Hosting on your own domain is optional and uses 300 credits per site each month. Host plans start at $12 a month billed yearly ($19 monthly) and include 500 credits.
Can I export the code of a cloned website?
Not from a Site Copy: it is a hosted, browsable copy of captured pages and assets, not an editable React or Tailwind project, and the web app has no source download. Editable source comes through a separately scoped Editable Rebuild. Developers can use the Clone API, which returns a React and Tailwind source ZIP for 100 credits per clone.
What is a credit?
The unit we meter work in. Copying costs 3 credits a page today; monitoring, growth work and SEO audits will spend from the same balance when they launch.
How many credits will my site cost?
3 credits for every page you choose to copy. We list the pages we found, you pick, and the total is shown before anything is spent. A 40-page site is 120 credits.
Is it still free to try?
New verified accounts receive 30 free credits, enough for about 10 pages at 3 credits each. No card is needed. Your first copy starts with the entry page, and you can add pages up to your balance. You get a Site Copy preview, without source editing. Credits for failed copies and for pages that could not be delivered return automatically.
What does Host include?
500 credits each month. Hosting one ready site with your domain and HTTPS uses 300 credits monthly, leaving about 66 pages worth of copying. Your plan is charged at checkout; the hosting credit charge starts when the domain and copy are ready.
Can I host more than one site?
Yes. Each live site spends 300 credits a month from the same balance, so you don't buy a plan per site. Grow covers up to 10; on Host, a second site means a top-up.
Monthly or yearly?
Annual Host is $12 a month, billed $144 a year; Grow is $39 a month, billed $468 a year. Annual plans issue credits monthly. Cancellation stops the next renewal. Hosting continues while its credit-funded period is active.
What if a copy fails or misses pages?
Credits for every page that was not delivered go back to your balance automatically, whether the whole copy failed or it stopped short of the plan.
What happens when I run out mid-month?
Buy a top-up. Top-up credits are spent after your monthly ones and stay on your account.
